There are two options for our Trot this year: in-person and virtual. The Harrison Chapel Cemetery Association's annual Turkey Trot 5K is equivalent to 3.2 miles. Participants are welcome to walk, jog, run, sprint, leap frog, you name it. In addition, there will be a food drive in which attendees can bring canned foods that will be donated to the local food bank.

If you choose to participate, your contribution will be used for the following efforts.
- To clear debris on the grounds
- Trimming around the grave sites
- Filling sunken graves with sand and dirt
- Clearing fence line of overgrown weeds and grass
- Pruning crepe myrtles
- Seasonal/Regular mowing and maintenance of the grounds
- Capital Improvements as follo

Above is an image of the Turkey Trot route. The Trot will start at Macedonia Baptist Church, go to the Harrison Chapel Cemetery, and return back to the Macedonia Baptist Church. Distance markers will be available.
The 5K will be held on Saturday, November 29th starting at 8 a.m.
